As you are all aware this blog has started a new passion… a passion for photography. What better way to feed this passion than by rising early and attending a Wisley open morning.
The open mornings are perfect for a quiet stroll around the gardens as general admission isn’t until 10am (worth going to see what it’s all about as it’s free if you have an RHS membership!). It’s the best way to take photos without the worry of the crowds.
At this time of the morning it’s just you and a handful of dedicated and passionate photographers… bliss!
Flowers are fast becoming my muse of choice. They don’t move and so tend to co-operate with the desires of an aspiring photographer.
I cracked out the camera and started snapping away, ambling around the vast gardens. Starting with the bedding plants…
I walked down to the ponds…
And even found some Bonsai…
You’d be quackers to miss the next one!
